Captain Dale Drogseth

The U.S. Navy brought me here in 1976, where I served as Navigator on the USS Moctobi in Everett, Washington--long before the current Naval base was there.

I am married to my wife Patty and have two great kids; both graduates of the University of Washington and my daughter, Mindy, a Law School graduate of Seattle University.

I began recreational fishing in the early 1980's. My first time out was an experience I'll never forget. I hooked a fish and knew it was big. Being the two (not so) well prepared novices that we were, my good friend and I soon realized we had no net. After fighting with the fish and bringing him next to the boat, my buddy reached over and grabbed him by hand, heaving him into the boat... It was a 20 pound KING SALMON! That hooked me on the whole fishing thing.

Years later I decided fishing was too much fun not to do it professionally.  I spent a couple of seasons chartering in Alaska before Captaining here in Puget Sound. I started working for other charter companies running boats and then bought my first boat (pre-owned). Then in 2020 I took delivery of my custom ordered 29 foot North River. Coast Guard Licensed

Captain Aaron Drogseth (the better looking half of the team)

Captain Aaron helped his Pops (Captain Dale) for years as deckhand until he got tired of taking orders from his dad! He sat for his Captain’s license five years ago.
